Roasted broccoli IS the BOMB

Our family likes broccoli, but I was tired of eating it the same way so I wanted to find a way to make broccoli in the oven with a few seasonings.

This recipe was so super easy and so GOOD! Of course my 3 year old is the pickier eater, but my 6 year old and husband loved it. I did use frozen broccoli and I recommend using raw fresh stalks of broccoli. My broccoli as you seen in the picture was in small pieces and you will not have that issue with fresh.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees

What you need:

2 large broccoli heads (serves approximately 4) cut into pieces

Place broccoli pieces in a bowl

Next.....get a bowl to mix up the spices:

2 1/2 tbsp. organic olive oil

2 freshly minced garlic cloves (I used extra bc I love garlic!)

1/2 tsp salt

Pepper to taste (I used about 1/2 tsp)

1 tbsp lemon juice

Last step....

Drizzle the olive oil and spices over the broccoli and mix well. Just make sure the broccoli is well coated.

Place on baking sheet to bake.

Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes (until slightly crispy)

Take out of oven and sprinkle with parmesan cheese or cheddar
